I think the ~~four~~ fine! five! most dangerous words you can think while writing are "Wouldn't it be funny if..."

I am not sure yet, but I think this is the first time I have used that phrase four separate times to justify plot points that I know for a fact are truly hideous on their own and I'm stacking the suckers together like some kind of insane layer cake of fail. And it's only eighteen pages so far.

At this point, it's almost a challenge. I mean, if I throw in mpreg and Merlin crying and cutting himself (maybe at the same time!), I'd argue this may be the greatest badfic ever written. I mean, I've always wanted to be the best, and I feel this kind of objective is worthy of achievement.

It's been a very long week. That's the only reason I can find that I am reading this and finding it awesomely hysterical and not, like, deleting it and pretending it doesn't exist. And people, I rarely like my own fic at this stage, so something is very wrong.
