I know the feeling. It's--uncomfortable. If it's any consolation, I've gone as much as six months without being able to do anything particularly new but either a.) edit or b.) edit. Eventually--and thsi might just be me--something small and pointelss breaks it, like--a single scene or a bit of porn or something. *sighs* I just have to get to the point where I can make myself do that much.

*more hugs* Hang in there. The light is--somewhere. It will come back!

It's been an age since I produced anything of note. I think I've written one fic in the past 12 months, one ficlet and maybe a couple of drabbles. And I didn't put the fic up for general consumption because it was particularly dark.

I know what you mean though. Just writing a small thing can break the deadlock. When I produced those drabbles, I was really and truly in a funk that I thought I'd never ever get out of. At the moment, it's making myself settle. Or rather, my stupid bipolar brain letting me.

Don't despair! I once went four YEARS between writings! From HL/Methos fanfic it was four YEARS before I picked up my (metaphorical) pen to write dueSouth F/K fanfic! So, again, don't despair, it'll come back!

[And now I'm waiting for it to come back for me, since it's been about another four years since I wrote my last dS fanfic....]
