So. I couldn't find a beta, I'm not sure what I'm doing, and it's given me a headache from hell. All my love to [livejournal.com profile] martianhousecat for walking me through what I was doing and why. [livejournal.com profile] tstar78 for the original encouragement.

Time and a World Away

It's--Lucas and Lex are alike in these really REALLY bizarre ways that vaguely freak me out.

And that's why Lex had to go after Lucas. It wasn't about the knowledge Lucas had; there is a pretty good chance that Lex could either have killed the story or spun it. He went after Lucas because there is only room in the world for one Lex. He had to get rid of the second one.

No, Lex really doesn't like rivals, does he?
