I remember finding out somehow in all the mess around the Trail of Tears "awareness-raising" walk that he's evidently now relocated to the city where I live, which makes me grit my teeth, a lot.

At least it's a big city...

It sounds horrible and fucked. And frankly, if it were possible to scare this person out of their serially shitty behavior...that should have done it. That they've now resurfaced is...ungood.

I remember meeting Victoria Bitter (supposedly real name) at one of the slash cons, where she had this ridiculous British accent. At the time, VB was very charismatic, but too young for me to hang out with. This was at the beginning of the LOTR obsession, and those of us at the songvid event suffered through half a dozen of VB's vids, all using the same clips, all to long Sarah MacLachlan pieces. Oy.

I really hope this person gets zero support for anything, and I hope we can reach the people who need to know about Andy. He's talented and clever, so there are a lot of ways he can ingratiate himself into a community, starting with the most vulnerable people first.

anyway, I saw this on my droll earlier and i basically said holy shit a fucking lot and then had to explain to my housemate what the hell.

I keep hoping one day he lands his ass in jail or a mental ward in a semi or fully permanent fashion. definitely he is one of those people who is just fucking dangerous to have out. :/
