So about this water falling from the sky thing--is this normal? Also noted: when walking outside, my shoes did not try to melt off my feet.
Curious. One might think to themselves, you mean, central Texas isn't a deathtrap trying to kill us all by cooking us to death? I marvel.
Seriously. There's like, *thunder*. I have never been more excited at the thought of traipsing through mud puddles in my life.

From:Even though it only took about 10 minutes from the first real rain shower to the first sirens--does *everyone* forget how to drive in this stuff? Or did they even know in the first place?
Well. The cats are freaked out (I have the patio door open for the first time in 2 months, because it's only 73 at 8:35 in the morning) by the smells and the sounds.
And this means the mosquitoes will be back, damnit. But I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
