If it was after--okay, I can see motivation on it, even if I still spit on his pretty hair. But before?

I'm wondering if Voegler's lost his mind a little, though, in powertripping. It's just--hmm. I mean, jumping about and heavy-handedly showing off the I am Alphamale and So Fucking Cool and Watch I Can Do Anything I Want and No One Can Stop Me gets really old, really fast. But fascinating. I am fascinated to see how House will get around him.

I didn't either. I mean, not at *all*. But the last three or four eps, she's showing her spine, and it's so pretty. Like, she's stealth or something. You're going along, barely noticing her in teh room adn pushing her out of the way--and then she gets pushed that last time and you hit granite. I'm explaining this badly. But man. She's *interesting*.

Yep. And now her actual self is coming out, not just the gloss. I mean, a couple of times, it's flashed in her in other eps, but nothing like this. Of the three of them, she's also the only one who didn't bother to play nice with Voegler--Foreman was a lot more circumspect, though I get the feeling he won't jump on the Vogler train either. It was intersting.

You know, I think he's playing Chase, too, and I wonder if Chase is even getting that he's very expendable. Vogler felt out the other two tonight and found they weren't budging, but if they had...hmm.

I love this show. They are *good* at balancing the fabulous medical drama wiht the more personal. I hope it continues.

I have to say, I love how House's mind works. However I would NEVER want him to be my doctor. Let's me rephrase that. Be my doctor, yes. Come talk to me, no.

But I do love his conversations with his staff and his honey, Wilson.

marksykins. I keep going back to that one.

It's funny you say that, because I actually almost *did* rec her "A Year and a Day", but then I thought it might be too much on the slave!Harry end of things. It's a great fic, no doubt!

i'm actually not that big a fan of a year and a day, though i certainly can appreciate it...i like my power dynamics a bit more ambiguous like amanuensis' spell to turn tigers to butter or even as sharp as sunlight. i think she's at her best when even the good guys have to make horrible choices :-)

I have mixed feeling about the House/Cameron stuff in general, and in this episode. Sure, she stood up for herself, but she was dead wrong about almost everything she said. Or at least in the way she was going about it. He has to make a professional decision about who to fire, and she keeps throwing all this personal stuff at him. First she tries the loyalty thing, and then she asserts that if he fires her, it's because he has sexual feelings for her? It came off as completely immature and embarrassing to me. She's trying to hold on as desperately as Chase, just with a different tact. That's how it struck me, anyway.

He definitely has, and it's going to bite him in the ass. :D Yay! I don't mean literally. There are too many people ahead of him in line for House to literally bite in the ass.

I thought about this a little more, and I realized that even Foreman didn't give House a purely professional reason to keep him; he said House should keep him because he wants to be there the most. He seemed to be referring to professional goals, but still... not exactly a merit-based argument. They're all making it about who daddy loves the most, in their own way. hee. daddy-love :D

They were all over the daddy love here. Foreman the eldest son, rational and serious but not really, Chase, the younger, wild one, always feeling like Dad's noticing Older Brother more, and Cameron, the only daughter, just wanting to be noticed, dammit.

This takes fic about them to a whole new and disturbing level.

Alas, I know nothing of an Death Eater!Harry although I may have to suggest that to one or two people. What I can recommend quite highly is
