bears are beautiful

I knew there was a very, very good reason I never went to ebay in search of Christmas bears. I'm pretty sure it had somethin to do with epic credit card debt being a high probable outcome, but--

...oh God, the bears.

I dont' see anything wrong, per se, in becoming the Scary Old Bear Lady, I'll be honest. I want to bid on all the bears.

This will end very, very well. For my insanity, anyway.

BEARS. I will join you in Scary Old Bear Ladydom! Although I am equal-opportunity when it comes to stuffed critters of all species. As long as the stuffies are happy to be named after late antique and medieval theologians and scholars, any stuffies are welcome chez Inept.

I'm the same with vintage hats on Etsy. I went on a shame spiral the other night. Wallet broke up with me. In my defense, though, one of the hats involved the description "atomic feather explosion". What the fuck am I supposed to do in the face of all that glory? *Not* pull out the VISA immediately? I don't think so. That fucker is going on my head.

You can't say "atomic feather explosion" without links. That sounds amazing!

As long as you accept and embrace the term, there is nothing wrong with it at all. I was at one point on my way to becoming a Fenton Glass Slipper Lady, but then I moved to a place where Fentonware didn't show up in junk shops cheap any longer.

Maybe it's time for a puppy. Or a baby. Either way they would be much cheaper than an ebay full of bears....
