I've been watching the full performance of this for the past day on repeat.

The woman is an angel on earth.

Seriously. I'm just stunned every time I listen.

Isn't she just inspiring?

Beyond words. Just--wow.

I've been watching--and I won't lie, sobbing my eyes out the first few times--all afternoon. It's INCREDIBLE.

I was wiping my eyes the first watch and whimpering through the next couple. It's just marvelous.

Ok, it saying facials, I was expecting it to be before & afters of cumshots... which I guess could be a pick-me-up?

But yes, Susan Boyle is AWESOME.

She's awesome. And of course I, when next in my cavernous bathroom, had to see if I could still sing that song and not bottom out on that low note. ::buffs fingernails on shirt::

Heh, my dad sent me the link to this. As I said to him, I think the best part was seeing so many smug, attractive people looking so thoroughly humbled.

Absolutely stunning. I figured she'd be a little voice and instead belted out a song beautifully. She made me cry.

That woman is now my hero. She was so confident in herself, that little smile she gave everyone before she began to sing, she knew what she was capable of and she wasn't daunted by their smug eye-rolls and comments. It was great to see the astonishment on the judges' faces. Honestly, I must have watched that like 20 times, and each time she just gets better and better. I hope she goes far.

Peeking out from lurkerdom to say thanks so much for posting this link... It's been a really faily couple of weeks and this was a real pick me up.

I spent half of it annoyed at the audience for cheering over her. SHUSH SHE'S SINGING! LET HER SING! But yes, it was lovely that the (fickle!) crowd immediately reversed themselves as soon as they heard her perform.

Thanks for the link; Susan was incredible and I hope she goes very far. I just loved how the audience stood within 30 seconds of her beginning the song. And, of course, everyone's shocked faces.

I read about this earlier on BBC, but didn't bother to go check it out on Youtube. It was just amazing, and when I gave my husband, who wouldn't normally be interested in something like this for a whole looooong list of reasons, the headphones to listen so he could hear a bit of it, I couldn't get them back; he listened to the whole thing and then just kept talking about it.

I was watching this at the time and I just sat there because Simon, Amanda and Piers were so disrespectful at first (and the audience) and I was just like 'is she going to be ridiculous as well? or just awesome?' and then she came out with this and I was stunned because she is so amazing and her voice - wow!

She was the only good thing to come out of glasgow this time, but good thing? Doesn't even begin to describe this woman.

Man, I love watching Simon Cowell's face when someone's really incredible. It's completely at odds with his reputation for being mean.

She made me cry. I would buy her tapes.

I watched at work and got all choked up and had my coworkers asking me if I was alright as I dabbed my eyes with kleenex :-) Good times.
