This will--tentatively--be my bridesmaid's dress. Imagine it in chocolate, and when I am not slumping against a wall. And have my hair fixed. And you know, care about my appearance in any way. It has a petticoat. A tiny, adorable one. And boning in the bodice.

The nightmare is over. Remember--think of it in chocolate.

New used book/media store at 5400 North Lamar, called Frugal Media. Still in the very early stages, but a good place to encourage, IMO. Had some *very* nice DVD deals today. (Got the A&E Horatio Hornblower DVD set--new--for $19.99.)

It's very pretty, very flattering. Looks a lot like my bridesmaid dress when my sister got married. Except mine was more of a wrap, and it was in the lovely colors of purple and orange (or as my sister says, cinnamon and blackberry.) The marriage lasted all of 6 months- I think that says it all.

*g* I like the names, though--cinnamon and blackberry. I think the correct name for the color she's going for is truffle. Food related colors. *shakes head* What a world.

*winces* Six months? Sounds like my aunt. *sighs*

I love the halter. She's teh one that picks out all my not-jeans clothes and loves the halter, so I think we did good. I just love how the skirt swishes.

I tried on several and that's teh first one she stopped short and was like YES THAT. The ohter one we liked was empire and had this *low* front, which yay! but also did this weird billowy thing around hips that made us nervous. *g*

Not...yet. We wnet to DSW where I found the cutest chunky heeled Mary Janes! But not for this dress. When we do the dress orders, we'll either order the shoes in house or will give up and go seraching the world. *hopeful*
