seperis | just a thought

So I was up last night until five AM. I got offline around 1, saying I was going to bed. Then this mysterious--I hate to call it a force but I will anyway--called me back to my laptop. Clutching a due South DVD box set in one hand with no clear idea how that happened.

So tell me this, just to brace myself--does it *stay* this amazingly fun? I am calm right now, but that is because I am eating Spicy Sweet Doritos (not as tasty as they sound). Otherwise, you might perhaps hear high pitched squeals of some kind.

Done now. I mean, with this entry. I only finished the Pilot and the first regular ep and there is so much watching left to do.

I have only recently (last couple months I guess) started down this path myself (well with one other fannish friend who sort of gave the final push) and I won't hear your squeals because my own -- intensified every time you post about this -- will drown them out. I cannot tell you how happy it makes me, the idea of you and due South crossing paths.

ALL THE FIC OUT THERE IS DRIVING ME NUTS.

I need to find a way to read the fic as it matches the eps. Hmm.

THE SHOW IS SO MUCH WIN!

Due South has been on my 'must watch' list for a long time. I watched the Christmas eps last December. Then sat and watched the pilot and first ep. And suprisingly, stalled there.

Maybe future squee from you will get me in gear.

The whole series is just awesome.

I do tend to be more partial to seasons 3&4 being a huge CKR fan - but the whole series just rocked.

I am having *such* a good time.

It not only stays that fun, it gets MORE fun! I'm an original fan and I can honestly say Paul Gross is responsible for my love of all things Canada because of that show.

He is insanely hot. And so deadpan its amazing.

It is totally and completely awesomesauce. In contrast to many in fandom, the first season is my favorite because it mixes angst and humor brilliantly. Fraser's role as The Outsider is never more poignant, in my opinion. The third and fourth seasons have delights of their own, but something about the first seasons twists at my heart like no other.

He does do Outsider well. And Canada hates him! Damn you Canada.

Oh man, yes. In fact it just gets better.

I really need to buy the last box set and rewatch the whole thing. Mmmm, Fraser.

IT'll be here Friday. I am totally an addict.

Hm, hi! Don't know you at all, but I stumbled onto this entry and I just had to say, OMG YES IT DOES! The whole show is just unbelievably perfect! (though unlike most people, I'm not such a CKR fan, so the first two seasons are my favorite.) But in any case, if you like what you saw, then you will love everything!

It's like SGA with the fun and the pretty and the angst, except: good, too! (says she as an ardent SGA-fan).
