[livejournal.com profile] poisontaster has a letter to her remixer up, and I--are we supposed to do that? I mean, I feel like mine should be an apology.

Something like this:

Dear Remixer

Yeah, who saw that coming, right? Before you stare at my webpage and ask [livejournal.com profile] musesfool to switch, please--there is totally stuff in there that's. Um. Not angsty. So you know, go there.

Here, all tagged. Perhaps obsessively so. If you feel the need to remix something with, like, rain? I totally have a tag for that!

What you may not have known about me before you got my name:

There's a tag for disfigurement. Probably want to skip that one, eh?

There's a bundle of tags for location. I do not make apologies for my runs into OCD. However, if the tag mentions a city and/or state, even odds it involves either drugs or death or really creepy sex with boots involved. It could also involve a car. Just--yeah. I'd watch for that.

I don't--necessarily--consider ending the world "unhappy", so to speak.

I don't--necessarily--consider character death "unhappy".

Right.

And with that in mind, hi!

WELL NOT THE ONE I APPARENTLY WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE END OF TIME FOR YOU TO DO SO! *sobs some more*

For the record?

If I had gotten this letter last year... it's a good thing I was already familiar with your work. Also, that I was familiar with your work before your del.icio.us obsession kicked in. :)

On the other hand, the OCD tags are totally awesome for ease-of-use.

Admit it--you are totally staring at yours thinking, i need more bundles.

...not that I was adding new tags while writing that post or anything.

I don't--necessarily--consider ending the world "unhappy", so to speak.

Sometimes I consider it downright cheery.

It's like you have taken all the work out of mocking you.

I like to think I mock myself better than anyone. *g*

...I have a tag for coma. Wow.

You make me want to obsessively tag my fic with del.icio.us.

I'm really excited about Remix Redux. I hope everyone is going to have lots of fun.

Del.icio.us is total crack.

I don't believe you.

You turned the cracky Mensa AU into an angst fest.

There is nothing you cannot/will not make sad and painful

NOTHING

I often worry myself.

I was obsessively tagging the fic I read over at del.icio.us, possibly in part inspired by you, and then... I stopped. Laziness? Depression? Lack of true OCD-ness to goad me on? Yeah, I don't know but all sound contributory. I now have 1 page of tagged (99% fic) links and 5 pages of untagged (99% fic) links. That my bad memory says I won't remember enough details about to properly tag when I'm next inspired to it. *cries*

On the other hand, I have a tag for "footsie" (as in "playing footsie"). "Coma" would be an improvement. In fact, I just checked and discovered that I don't have a "coma" tag. Oh the humanity....

I am not going to even mention my other del.icio.us accounts. Except - I needed somewhere to put all my recipe links (http://del.icio.us/lyonors/recipes). And other miscellaneous stuff. At least those accounts are up to date with tags. Though they do need to be bundled....

eta/ps ... I just skimmed down your bundles list and it's ::single crystalline tear:: beautiful! I find it incredibly inspiring. Tomorrow I will delve into your actual tags and ... well, I may completely disappear from lj for the month of March if I allow the likely inspiration full rein.

Should I maybe change my journal name to can be inspired by OCD behavior in others? <== rhetorical question, need not be answered
