So I thought, year in review! Now I will pile up my accomplishments throughout the last year and hover over them, crooning softly "My precious...."

...one day, I will have Words with Tolkien for that phrase. *shakes fist* One day.

Now, by accomplishments, one might mean, er, fic. Let's face it, that's what I do. Well, that and wave frequently. I am not a Renaissance girl of much variety; I stick to what I know. And enjoy.

So.

My (Shared) Challenges

DVD Commentary Challenge with [livejournal.com profile] general_jinjur

Um. I'm just making this up for the hell of it.

Things I Have Never Done Until Now (Fictionally Speaking)

1.) genderbender/gender change (Story of a Girl)
2.) three-fandom crossover (And All the World Beneath)
3.) threesome (Believe What You Breathe)
4.) art fic (List of Cool Shit to Do)

Right. I--have no idea what else to put here. Um. Any questions? (No, I have no idea what kind of questions would go here.) I was going to do clever commentary on every story, but then I realized I had no idea what I'd say about some of them.

Favorite story? Hardest to write? Most fun? Most unintentionally telling? Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story? Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe?

(Can you tell I'm doing my own list?)

*dies*

I counted up how many times I tortured, killed, or sacrificed my characters to the gods....

I should not have a category for human sacrifice!

*thoughtful* I really want to do Life Lessons I Have Learned From SGA Fanfic post one day.

I should not have a category for human sacrifice!

... but that you do is part of your charm. (Does regression count? I'm pretty sure getting to relive puberty in public is worse than, say, the rack.)

I really want to do Life Lessons I Have Learned From SGA Fanfic post one day.

So long as #4 isn't "One finger, two fingers, cock." Or "Marines fear no greater enemy than He Who Can Make Them Shower in Cold Water."

How on Earth have I missed so much of your fic?! I mean, I can't remember when I friended you, but I should certainly have seen you post "I Hear and I Forget"! And there should have been no reason I didn't read it, especially given your apology to John (http://seperis.livejournal.com/548310.html) in the post following this (torture and angst is a staple of my fic reading life).

ETA: Ok, apparently I did read I Hear and I Forget and forgot the title that went with that awesome story. Can't believe I forgot the title. *headdesk

*giggles* It's not that great or descriptive of a title.

Thank you. *g*

I'm kind of embarrassed that I never told you how much I loved "And All the World Beneath". Fantastically eerie and compelling and scary and I was practically peeking through my fingers the first time through because I was afraid of (more) terrible things happening to the people I love. ::sniffs::

Then after I finished it I was able to go back and read it again and wallow in the horrible beauty of it. I still go back for snippets. *g* And to think about the intimate goings-on that might occur after the ending. The story really packs a punch. I'm not always a huge fan of cross-overs, but you made the worlds fit together seamlessly.

*hugs you* Thank you very, very much.
