The disturbing way my mind works...
From:Anyway, it was the mention of the humans thinking Lex was dead, and that Kal had killed all the humans/rebels, which would sorta fit in with the end of HoD. I was imaging a very small base of rebels, probably too small to be of any use, or to be personally known by Lex, that hadn't been wiped out when he decided to go with Clark's plan of enslaving humanity.
It's something that's intriguing me... Okay, maybe not exactly a happy ending, but there's almost the possibility of a happy ending for the rest of humanity. I'm not sure how precisely it could end, even if they would defeat the future/alterna-selves, or if it would change Clark enough to show him that ruling the owrld like that was an achievable possibility... (Okay, now my mind's just wandering along the possibilities. *g*)
Then, of course, you brought in the other Kryptonians, and the force field, and I was force to admit that it was just a hopeful fantasy on my part. *g*
