Okay, I'm medicated and less homicidal, so.

Man up, who has the link to the man-centaur site with the frighteningly well-done human/centaur manips that involve porn? I know someone has it bookmarked and I'm hating myself that I don't. I don't judge--I can't, really, I'm actually asking for it.

ETA Boytaur.net was provided by [personal profile] acari. And [profile] brown_betty has offered up Epic NCIS Centaurfic, because she's awesome about getting the spirit of the thing.

I actually have this link now. Dear God.

I honestly can't answer. I've tried more than once to read it (why? IDEK) but I never get past “I have something I want to tell you!” before my spine clubs my brain unconscious and takes over, and next thing I know I'm at Youtube watching Alejandro.

I (shamefully ;) admit to having read that whole thing. And also the fic (in another fandom, that I wasn't even in) that inspired it. And wasn't The Sentinel involved somehwere in there (aka, the Centaur verses?) too? (I was a LOT (read a few years) younger back then, OK????
Also, NCIS fandom (at least at that point) had some really weird fics... There was Vampire porn, the Doggy one, the Slave-World one, others..., I'm not harshing anybody's likes, I obviously managed to get something out of the Centaur one, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's a bit like Stockholme syndrome? There was nothing else (not enough, if one doesn't count abismal ff.net stuff) to read, so somehow these things seemed more readable?

I've read weirder, to be honest. I never managed to get into this one, for whatever reason, but I promise, I don't judge those who do.

I never felt judged, it was a comment to a post asking for photoshopped "centaur" porn after all... (but I wanted to make sure, I didn't judge anybody either)

There is much wierd stuff out there! And somehow there is also (a lot of the time) and audience for it. Everybody probably has their kinds of wierd that appeal to them.

I guess I was just trying to make the distiction that from the pure "out there" standpoint, I guess SGA-au's take the price and I've read many of those, but those somehow (almost) always managed to sound completely utterly nuts, but actually be well done.
NCIS-fics (of that kind/era) somehow give off a different vibe to me. (But then every fandom has its vibes.)

okay, the ones I looked at a lot of them weren't frighteningly well-done, although I did find them kind of frightening, because I wasn't expecting all the extra penises.

fyi I am kind of freaked out in the bad way here but I'm not blaming you you did mention it involved porn.

However:

I can't decide whether I'm more weirded out by the centaur one where they clearly felt, for some reason, that the horse needed a *bigger* penis, or the one where the boy was shopped onto the body of a mare.

Also, I was expecting more rainbows. Who knew the centaur-lovers were so darn serious?

huh. I kinda thought you might be talking about theban band. I mean, it was more than centaurs (sometimes there were demons!) but I seem to remember at least a few centaur manips (Mulder/Krycek, mostly or entirely, can't remember which)

I clicked. Why did I click? I am... befuddled and rather creeped out.

I think it was the cognitive dissonance of expecting something other than I got, now with added bonus wristfeet?

I just saw a request for that Gibbs!Centaur fic last night, and I thought to myself, "Wow, what an odd and unique plot for an NCIS fic."

And now you bring it up, too. And now I'm giggling. :)

I I actually liked the NCIS Gibbs-taur fic. It was really good, and I'm not one to go looking for that sort of thing, in case I find a website like the ABOVE... I have seen more poly-orchid men now than I ever care to see

From: [identity profile] eponymousanon.livejournal.com Date: 2010-09-24 06:46 am (UTC)
Hey if you wanted more centaur fic the concept originally came from James Walkswithwind (I believe). He wrote a SGA series if you scroll down this page.
http://gila.faking-sanity.net/stargate.html

The original centaur series was from a TV show called Houston Knights
http://gila.faking-sanity.net/horses.html

And he wrote a one-off story in BtVS/AtS Xander/Wesley
