UFO'S IN FRANCE

Actually, I'm linking that because I kind of liked this quote and you kinda need context for something like this.

Patenet's* answer to questions about evidence of life beyond Earth was sure to inflame the suspicions of those convinced the government is holding back: "We do not have the least proof that extra-terrestrials are behind the unexplained phenomena."

But then he added: "Nor do we have the least proof that they aren't."

*Jacques Patenet, the aeronautical engineer who heads the office for the study of "non-identified aerospatial phenomena."

Annnnd.

Here is where you can see the French X-Files. X-Philes? But for real!

ETA: That address isn't working. Hmm. Darn it. Though frankly, I can't read french. But you know, I have an afternoon, I'm bored, and I'll be fielding calls from incredibly annoying people. Surely I can learn French in four hours.

Hey, if it comes up? Report here so I, too, can boggle at foreign aliens. Sort of.

You know, I've been reading other things after your post, and answering comments and the like, but at random intervals I just feel like exclaiming, "foreign aliens! foreign aliens!" Awesome. :-)

I *think* this link (http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&root=%2Fig&dpos=top&num=24&q=ufo&btnG=Search+Homepage+Content) will get you to some Google tools for UFO sightings and newsreels.

Man, that Google homepage. You can select themes now, and it will change as the day progresses. *enjoys her little fox thing rowing across the noonday picture*

Oh, that's very French.
Do something great and just then it... crashes. O_o
But hey, evil foreign aliens don't only try to invade the US! (it's so annoying in films & books when "the world is attacked!" = "the US are attacked!")

From: [identity profile] the4ts.livejournal.com Date: 2007-03-23 09:36 pm (UTC)
It proved so popular the site crashed. The crash made the news over here in the UK - not the site itself but the fact it crashed and so quickly, which I find much funnier than it probably deserves :)

PS It's back up now - click on the link to get redirected.
