So I am sadly pornless in Texas. It's tragic, and I'm aware of the tears being shed. Also, my current fandom is being *very difficult* and not, you know, posting more.

So. For my own indecent interest. If I left off a fandom, it's because I haven't read in it yet. And you should tell me about it. In detail. Perhaps with examples. If some involved bondage? This would not offend me.

This is, of course, for academic purposes only. I won't be using this to supplement my reading list or anything. Academic.

In my experience, the good fic in NCIS (which granted, seems to be limited to a very few authors)is scorching hot. And for some reason, has the most D/s I've read in a fandom.

blueraccoon's fics are here She's written pretty much every pairing but the Applied Psychology series is my favourite. (there's more of it on her LJ, conveniently tagged)

crimsonquills is also an excellent writer in the fandom. Fics are here She has a series playing in James' Horse of a Different Color universe called Myths and Revelations that I absolutely love.

Those two authors have written gen, het, slash, threesome, angst, humour and everything in between and I haven't not liked anything.

Other recs are skripka and kelly_girl. Anyone who might want to wander the archive linked above should be careful when venturing outside these authors. Especially of the MPREG. *shudder*

Back in the day, Gundam Wing was a little porn machine. Not just frequency but complexity of the smut. It was a lot of bad porn, but the *average* level of smuttiness was fairly sophisticated even though the average age might've been lower than usual.

If you don't mind reading fic without watching the show first, I'd rec Final Fantasy 8 (yeah, it's a game, same diff with regard to fic). It's an older fandom and this archive hasn't been updated recently, but it's a good place to start:

My voting is limited by the small number of fandoms I'm in, and I don't actually have much in the way of good advice, because I tend to keep to people who write smut and avoid comms where there is mostly G or PG. For example, for sheer volume, Harry Potter probably has to win, but lots and lots of it is 14 year olds writing Mary Sues. And unicorns.

I've read a couple really hot sex stories from CSI. But I don't think the majority of that fandom is smut, either.

Basically, I'm voting that we invent a fandom which is smut and only smut. Maybe based around... porn actors. Or Harlequin Blaze stories.

I didn't vote based on what was my favorite, but rather what had the highest smut to nonsmut ratio in my experience and the highest levels of truly creatively filthy smut. I love SGA, but I think there's way too much gen and humor and romance and sheer crack as far as percentage of fic goes for it to rank up there with the truly smutty.

My third voted, mention in the comments fandom, however is DC Comics fandom. Seriously smutty smutty smut out there. The fandom that invented the phrase "sex pollen". The fandom that uses its superpowers for... not exactly evil. The fandom where Roy Harper may or may not honestly want to sleep with his semi-stepmom, but he sure has slept with everyone else including at least one villain. The fandom in which Wonder Woman's canonical One Fatal Weakness is, um. Bondage. No, seriously! If she gets tied up she temporarily loses her powers! And they invented that part back in the thirties as part of her origin story!
