winamp help

I upgraded to WinAmp Pro, because Musicmatch was annoying me with resource use. This thing will *not* burn a CD decently. I mean, at all. It asked for what speed, I told it 40, and it's giving me a total of two hours to make it. This makes Musicmatch look *fast*, and it was burning at 4. Is WinAmp being strange or am I doing something wrong?

You can totally tell this is Upgrade Day on jenn's computer, cant' you?

Ipods are *expensive*. Though I do get vaguely green-eyed when I see them mentioned these days. *ponders* I should start saving for one.

iTunes does not require an iPod. Nor does it require a Mac. It merely replaces your other mp3 player/CD burner program. Also, it's free at the Apple website :)

Mind you, I've heard that iTunes sucks ass.

As for Musicmatch and WinAmp, I generally use WinAmp if I'm sitting on the computer listening to MP3s and Musicmatch if I'm burning a CD or transferring MP3s to my (Dell-made) MP3 player. I've never been able to burn CDs from WinAmp and have only rarely been able to get CDs to even play using it. I manage just fine having both programs on both computers and picking which to use based on purpose.

I realize it is annoying when people badger you, but PLeASE< PLEASE PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE write more pretty when you're mine. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I have resorted to making up my own scenes in my head (of clark's degredation, naturally), but honestly i prefer yours.
