I have the DVD-RW.

I have no idea what I will do with it, besides the obvious--drooling, petting, staring hungrily, imagining being able to back up my entire harddrive, and pretty much getting vaguely orgasmic every time I note a write speed of 40 on CD-R and all the pretty, pretty DVD things going on. I have thoughtful, practical applications--such as, finally emptying out my DVR of all the shows I want to keep and not have to buy on DVD, which will require another hard drive and a capture card, but still. Also, pulling things from tape that we've kept over the years. And stuff. Oh so much stuff.

Also, I bought headphones.

Yes, this is just a random update. I have absolutely no interesting news to report. How sad.
