icons, links, and victoria's meme
Pretty icons, courtesey of
taraljc here!
Two Bad!Clarks, two Lexana. Ah, she knows me SO well! *hugs* Can see the four new ones here too!
In case anyone is curious, I am pathologically incapable of making cool icons. I depend on the skill of others. *g*
Other news.
Recs and thoughts on sexuality and materialism in Smallville, in which I ramble randomly over the subjects without much in the way of organization. To think I used to be GOOD at essays. My English teacher would put a hit out on me if she saw this.
Um. She isn't HERE is she?
musesfool is brave. Very, very brave. And frankly? Still not sure my ego is up to doing that to myself. *g* As if anyone would answer. But. Hmm. You know...
I actually COULD critique myself with this survey, though.
1) What was the first story you read that I wrote?
1a) Did you like it or not?
1b) Why or why not?
1c) What do you remember most about it?
2) What story of mine do you like the best?
2a) Why?
2b) What separates it from the other stuff I wrote?
2c) What separates it from other stories like it?
3) What story of mine do you like the *least*?
3a) Why?
3b) What separates it from the other stuff I wrote?
3c) What separates it from other stories like it, if anything?
4) What about my writing style grabs you?
4a) What stories exemplify this style?
5) What type of story (not which characters) would you like to see me write?
6) Is there a specific character or situation you'd like to see me try my hand at?
6a) Why do you think I'd be good at it?
7) Is there anything, in your experience, that you think would help me fix a specific flaw in my writing?
( survey on self )
Okay, hit me. And if you'd like to jump straight into the 'don't likes', feel oh so free.
Come on. This is FUN. *g*
