The problem is there's no way these memories are Jaffa!John's from Refraction. He was: captured and tortured on Earth, not close friends with Rodney, not close with Elizabeth, and might never have shot Sumner. Also, he's been aged by Wraith feeding.

That doesn't mean John isn't a Jaffa or that Sumner's not a Goauld, though John's immune system could be shutting down from either having the symbiote or just having been addicted to the drug.

I really think they're lying about the clone thing. Something big is missing in that explanation. Rodney was so startled when John knew he "wasn't the right one" and it didn't feel like he was satisfied by John clarifying, "Yeah, I know I'm a clone."

All the behavioral modifications on John bother me. Because the power dynamic didn't feel such that Sumner could order Carson to put those in under duress, so I want to know why they feel the need to do that. Is it part of why John seems to be killing more people than usual (then again, it's not easy to overestimate John's actual ability to kill people without blinking). Also want to know why Carson and the rest of the science team are working with Sumner. Are some of them actually evil? Which people was Rodney expecting to escape with him?

I also have no idea why Sumner is letting the Athosians through the gate. It seems like something he wouldn't want to do. Perhaps he has to trade for supplies and for some reason does not know who the Athosians are either? Also, where do you think they're attacking? Because it sounds like Atlantis--but who would be guarding it if all the Atlantis crew are here? The city itself? I want to say, that some group was brought here by people in this timeline to storm this timeline's Atlantis. But... where do I split it up?

Rodney is obviously Teyla's Rodney, who seems to be obviously from this timeline because she has all her people and comes through the gate and knows John.
John is supposedly not anybody's John.
Sumner and a group of military types belong to another group than Beckett, Zelenka, Simpson, and a indefinite number of scientists and Marines, but we don't know if Beckett and Co. are Rodney's Beckett and Co.

I... I'm getting more confused. Also, as there is only one more part, I'm going to go from not knowing to knowing all of it. *throws up hands* Seriously, I could go on and on... and I have a final tomorrow. Damnit.

  • Obi-Wan has a sort of desperate, pathetic patience in this movie. You can just see it in his eyes: "My padawan is a psychopath, and no one will believe me; I'm barely keeping him under control and expect to wake up any night now to find him standing over my bed with a knife!"
