lj and deleted comments

Okay, with Lj's new and improved update, question to those that still use or crosspost; how long has it been that when you deleted a message in your inbox, that bolded line saying that i'ts been deleted no longer appears? I went to delete some spam and the deleted message message that replaced the actual message is now gone.

I know this was still leaving that placeholder a month ago since I do a monthly cleaning of anonymous spam. Does this happen if anyone deletes their comments from your LJ or just anonymous or just--something else....?

I...am mostly seeing 'people are having problems' and 'some user has seen something' but no actual support requests or outlining of problems. I am not sure what's going on, and some people are just throwing in 'it broke ljlogin for me >:(' instead.

Basically, it doesn't seem like everyone is getting this issue, but there's strong evidence that this problem is out there and happening. So, I just thought I'd let you know. :)

Oh, no worries! Since I came in on the 'Network' link on my DW (which pretty much only means that seperis and I share a community or a subscription somewhere), I really, uh, have no idea who seperis is, never mind anyone else. :)
