Your fail has progressed beyond irritating and reaching epic levels of "Where the fuck are my notifications?" and you will note, I am descending to profanity to illustrate how very much this is putting me out.

Please stop making me contemplate the fact that a.) I was once a teenager and b.) I tried to write sex using metaphors before the age of consent, because I will post that shit and people will cry. And possibly embrace celibacy. It was that bad.

I had some notification delays (like ten hours) on my writing journal the other day but that was it! I didn't know it was a huge, ongoing problem. :/

*sigh* If it's broke, then they should take the time to fix it properly. Fair enough, I guess.

They should ALSO take the time to update us on progress, with estimated time lags and back-to-normal deadline. The problem had been around for at least 24 hours before they updated the maintenance com - apparently under the delusion that because it's the weekend, it's ok to leave it until Monday? And then nothing since.

Meanwhile, Mark over at Dreamwidth posts to let us know there might be a *five minute* delay on comments, and if we want to know exactly when, and when it's done we can check the Dreamwidth twitter feed. *cuddles Dreamwidth*

Dude, I have the opposite problem. I didn't want to get flooded with e-mails, so I made sure the 'v gift' notification setting was set to "don't fucking do it, anyway, anyhow"--and now I'm getting flooded with v-gift e-mails *headdesk*
