I have a very strong feeling that a template for mailing lists pages and a template for archive pages are desperately needed.

I... don't think I have the whateveritis required to write my own encyclopedia entry.

Also, I'm not exactly an expert on anything fandom. Which, coupled with the lead statement, makes me uniquely unsuited for significant contributions.

I will, however, enjoy watching you go nuts. ;)

You don't have to put anything on your user page if you don't want to. You can leave it blank, and then add a line or two to whatever interests you. It doesn't have to be a huge commitment.

Well, I think the ideal outlet for OCD urges would be "List of..." pages like Wikipedia has. Like, you could do a "List of all HP communities". That would take a while...

Times like this I wish I knew anything useful about fandom. But I'm such a fandom dilettante, writing a little here and browsing Fandom Wank there, and RPing a little and commenting on thinky posts. Nothing very useful or complete. :(

As far as I know, no one has yet started on Fandom Wank. You could just edit the page, enter a couple of tidbits like who started it and why it moved to journalfan, and then walk away.

Ah- I was wondering, do you know to which extend are pages about artistic communities allowed (generic things like deviantart, y!gallery, elfwood, etc.)? I think that while most aren't exclusive to fandoms, some still were or are central to a few of them - or have generated fandom waves at one point or another.

Hey, for John Sheppard--and maybe later Atlantis characters--maybe we could make a profile for them similar to but different from the Template:UserProfile to put their vital stats in? Like name, age, rank, etc etc etc?
