Child and I spent our day wallowing in self-pitying misery, as is fitting for those who are sick.

Taking a bit of time from my low-grade disgust with the horror I am enduring in regards to excessive tissue use....

Her hair! IT IS AS I PICTURED IT, WITH THE WAY SHE PROBABLY ONLY REMEMBERS TO GET IT CUT WHEN IT GETS IN HER WAY AND TEYLA HAS TO ACT QUICKLY BEFORE ONE OF THE MARINES VOLUNTEERS!



Okay, despite the fact my nose is the color of a overripe tomato and I am as one with the Vick's tissues--totally made my day.

OH GOOD. XD i was drawing joan too (am currently attempting to put rodney in but it's sort of failing hilariously) and drew hair sort of like that. I'M GLAD I WASN'T COMPLETELY OFF.

i actually started before she posted! so it would be sort of late to change it, as the blue lead i use is not good w.r.t. erasing. XD; also, i sort of modeled it after my own haircut.

ummm they are sort of not wearing clothes ahahaha (though joan is in front so you don't really see rodney. which actually is what makes it difficult.)

okay okay i admit that it started out as anatomy practice and went from there. WHAT CAN I SAY.

I'll tell ya' what's really striking - together with the fact that the artwork is gorgeous? Joan as drawn here, if the hair was a little longer, would look very very much like the Flan's RL sister.
