I have absolutely no connection to Pokemon at all. Never played the games, never watched the show, and I"m still stupid excited to see this movie.

It's so much cuter and more fun than I expected! With a non-overcomplicated plot that actually works and someone apparently worked on. Like, this works as a movie for pretty much anyone.
