Specter Bats For the Other Team! which is a euphemistically filthy way of speaking of a Republican converting to the Democrats.

...okay, granted, this is not technically on the Apocalypse To Do List. I'm just saying, maybe it should have been.

Anyone seen any--say, rapturing? Just run and check around your offices, please. Just to make sure. I'll wait.

Oh Arlen, dear Arlen. I grew up with Arlen on the local Philly news station. I never liked him until he became middle of the road in comparison to some of his party colleagues. And today...I LOVE ARLEN WELCOME TO THE GANG. No more filibusters. Haha, my Gov teacher told our class about that today. He sort of interrupted my Lit teacher and said, "Class, as of today, Specter has switched to the Democratic Party, creating what may become a filibuster-proof Democratic Senate." It was kind of funny because one of my classmates was really excited while some of the other kids (including me) were all, "Specter who?" Thank you for making me more politically aware, Mr. Z. :D

(Btw, I just wanted to say that I friended you recently and wanted to say hi so that you wouldn't think, "Yo, who's this stranger?" ... Though technically, I guess I'm still a stranger. --;)
