No offense at all. I'm pretty certain I remember the incident you're recalling above. The list mods (me and one other) didn't exactly view slash in the same light (me very pro she rather con). So I am sorry for your experience. It came down to me realizing I couldn't please everyone at the same time so I was probably always gonna be pissing someone off. LOL
PTF went through some serious growing pains with too many new members too fast. It got to the point where everyone was complaining about every little thing to me, a few folks joined to purposely cause trouble and folks were complaining to me about stuff that was going on over at the newsgroups no matter how often I told them that had nothing to do with PTF. Just a buttload of conflicts. I started out trying to run the list with a light hand but all the constant in-fights made it nearly in impossible in the end and by then they all burned me out so much that I pretty much don't ever want to write P/T again, sadly, and started distancing myself from Voyager, in general.
TBH, if PTF enjoyed a revival of sorts (and I'd love to see folks having some fun over there) I think enough time and distance has happened that it could be a fun, lighthearted place again.
And despite the complaints, I still have loads of fun memories, even from PTF, and I'm really glad mandragora steered me in your direction. :)
