Kris and Lil are kind of half-way there? They didnt' want to be, and no one wants to risk the process going wrong if Lil and Kris resist so hard they go crazy. Right now, it turns out to be useful for them to be, since they can do things the others can't.
One of the most delicious bits to me is that Adam doesn't think he's different, while casually planning to hunt down and kill the people he sees in Kris's memories.
Well, none of them realize it, really. Like, at all. Their reference point for normal is each other, and relative to each other, they seem to the same.
And! And! Does he not realize that by 'fixing' Kris he's potentially creating a Krisbot?
He's trying not to this time by being more selective in how he's influencing Kris' thoughts. OTOH, Kris has pretty much indicated exactly what he wants Adam to suppress or remove, so it's--yeah. Even if he wanted to, he can't change Kris back, so it's also preventative to Kris going completely crazy. And convenient, since again, to all of them, Kris is the abnormal one, so ti's more like normalizing him.
