I'm nearly in tears. Just! Emma's idea/perception of who Xavier is, the ways that Alex just over-runs everything because he was one of the first and it is going to take more than a chair for him to forget. All the ways Emma knows what it is like to be a telepath, the ways she can see Xavier is covering up all the ugly and angry cracks. And just! That whole last paragraph! The ways Charles can't be Xavier to her anymore. SO HAPPY!

Also, the house, the scenery sounds amazing.
