While I do accept your apology, and am very grateful to you for making it, I'd like to clarify that people like you, arsenicjade, and miarr, who put a warning on a Star Trek fic immediately when a friend of mine was triggered by dubcon in it, are the stars in this kind of debate. Being able to recognize and correct your ignorance is a huge thing, and I commend all of you for it.

Thank you very much. It's been a trial sometimes, but the number of people I've seen with changed minds (whether because of my post or a different one) is really amazing and heartening. It makes the bullshit more than worth it.
