You know, I think I may have had a tiny orgasm right there. :) You've so captured the feeling of fear and distrust that permeates Atlantis, and then the trust and affection between John and Rodney that should seem out of place among sociopaths and yet seems completely natural and right. And though John is scary in his tightly reined-in violence, Rodney's cool control is far more frightening.
