I am *really damn tired* of fanfic demonizing anyone who has had a visible sexual partner that they weren't married to. Or actually, you know, I think it's part of the entire "dumb slut" cliche. Kirk's getting this crap because he has sex, I swear.

I mean, what in the name of God is wrong with someone who does not have a monogamous (or polygamous) permanent attachment having consensual sex with other people in like situation?
