wow! i just saw this, and got back, read 'that's for remembrance' and then got back and read this as well and, wow! it's very well written as a story but it's more than that! i love it! i more than love it! i'm adopting it as my own personal 'canon' about John's past cuz, boy, does it explain some 'peculiarities' about the show's John and lights things from interesting angles... wow!
