Actually no - it takes (or should) the whole question of experience off the table because every time someone complains that someone this inexperienced will be 1 heartbeat away from the presidency, it subtextually (or will be pointed out textually) that Obama doesn't have much experience either and will be president. I've already seen some Dems be absolute idiots by totally dissing her inexperience and then get caught out when asked how much more experience in an executive office does Obama have (answer = 0 to her 1/ 1/2 years as gov).
What needs to be pushed here is how her gender is irrelevant, her stances are very right wing ideology and for that reason alone most women, men or anyone in between should be scared.
The only way this pick will keep from blowing up in our faces, is if we fight her on substance and not on experience or gender. And we need to be careful - in a sense McCain made a smart choice because there are so many potential pitfalls awaiting Dems in how they respond to her.
