She is? I'd be curious to see a link. The good ol' boys in the 'Corrupt Bastards Club' (their quaint little name for themselves) don't like her much--she wouldn't play ball. She's a socially conservative Republican, and for that reason I'd never vote for her, but she's a pretty clean one.
I don't know of anything recent, but when Stevens was indicted, it was in all the articles (ap, reuters, which I suppose means less than it once did) that the FBI was investigating her as well.
I think you just misread or misremembered. Many of the articles mention the local investigation into the commissioner's dismissal while also talking about Stevens and the federal investigation. Stevens, Young, and what seems like half our state legislature are all under federal investigation and/or indictment, but she's not one of them.
