success! and by that, I mean, totally making stuff up

Okay, so since I didn't see what it said I did, I decided to show what I *do* see. Yes. I know. I was getting antsy.

Below cut, picture and explanation.

Mindfuck Forest Thing
Mindfuck Forest Thing

1.) Someone possibly smiling. An evil smile. Kinda like Disney's Pocohontas.
ETA: Actually, it looks like Uhura looking off to the left to me. Hmm.
2.) Lenny Kravitz
3.) Hanging doll type person
4.) Feet type things (possibly attached to spindly legs? possibly baby above it? Somewhere?)
5.) If you turn your head sideways, it's totally ET
6.) a.)Really tentacled spider. b.) If you turn your head forty-five degrees, Iratus bug. c.) Aslan

Also in picture - Scott Summers, another smiling face, a shovel, and okay, seriously, that light is creeping me out for some reason.

ETA: Three new variations.

By [livejournal.com profile] saya415 - human skeleton/possible chicken corpse
By [livejournal.com profile] threnodyjones - Woman Coming Out of Picture
By [livejournal.com profile] justascream - Woman In Picture (this one blinks in and out, so wait five to ten seconds to show outline)

Also various other theories in comments. Pretty sure I'll be having Ring flashback tonight. I am very stoked.

ETA 2:
[livejournal.com profile] leld found a dalek. Seriously. I could see his tiny textured body and his tiny plunder (death ray thingie). Wow. I. Wow.

ETA 3:
[livejournal.com profile] scarletts_awry found a TARDIS and a woman's face.

[livejournal.com profile] cukirepa discovered missing chunk of tree (while it grows!)

Done and done. lol

I'm just the opposite. You know those annoying pictures where they swirl a lotta stuff together in a flat pattern on a page, and you have to fuck up your vision to see the dolphins jumping through it or whatever? I can do that instantly, something about pulling one eye's vision back and pushing the other forward. People have tested me on it. lol

Oh dear.

Thank you very much for trying to point it out. I do appreciate the effort, and I suspect from the reactions of others, I should be happy that I just don't get it.

Here's a light illustration of her starting to crawl out - at least what I see...

Huh. Did you notice all the trees look like feet?

Not on a high quality Macintosh desktop screen. The contrast completely changes. And I trust Mac desktop screens with image quality WAY more than my laptop's.

Oh! So the bendy branch is the side of her hand! And she's grabbing at ree to come at me. Thank you.

well, I think. I dunno about shitting bricks, but she is kind of creepy.

Also, this made me jump and scream, a iittle.

Here. Straight up: http://www.kerosene-sunshine.com/junk/lady_inthe_trees3.gif

lol Honestly, I can't say with absolute certainty that she's really there. But I see her.

Thank you, now I see what ya'll are talking about.

It is a bit of a rorschach, though, isn't it? The chicken carcass is a lot easier to spot once you mentioned it.

I like finding things that aren't there. It's a blast. Must be the art student in me.

inkblot test

[identity profile] jenna-thorn.livejournal.com 2008-05-13 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I like finding things in clouds; I just have trouble finding what I'm supposed to. Hee, I liked the inkblot as much as I dislike the "cross your eyes" color muddled pictures.

When I was tested, I think I gave the tester a headache. At least, she was rubbing her eyes and a little cross on the repetitive bit at the end. I suspect it was my pointing out the bears wearing tutus that did it.

They seemed very obvious to me.
