Well the Aorta is the big blood vessel (out of the left ventricle) that curves upward and then goes down till the lumbar region where it splits up towards the hips and legs. It carries ALL the blood going to all limbs and organs to bring them oxygen etc.(yes, even the lungs get a bit). Then there's the, actually stolen from wiki:
In the human heart, the pulmonary trunk (pulmonary artery or main pulmonary artery) begins at the base of the right ventricle. It is short and wide - approximately 5 cm (2 inches) in length and 3 cm (1.2 inches) in diameter. It then branches into two pulmonary arteries (left and right), which deliver de-oxygenated blood to the corresponding lung.
That one delivers blood ONLY to the lungs (to be reoxygenated).

I'll admit though, that I haven't actually read the whole fic (yet) so I don't know what exactly happened etc.. Depending on where/what/when was cut you might want to clamp different things. Theoretically you should get pretty much everything by clamping the Aorta and the Pulmonary veins though. The only question would be how to get at them to do so.
