I had a similiar--feeling of sorts a few months ago. I was actively *disliking* people I otherwise like on my flist and when it felt like the thing to do was bash Sheppard and Joe. And it was--really, really frustrating, to feel like a lone John fan surrounded constantly by this loud, endless noise of omghewlettmckaygodyes with a hefty side order of joesheppardsucksdienow. Which I think, unless you *are* one of the rare primary fans of John Sheppard, goes totally under the radar, so the frustration level is really, really hard to get across. *g* [livejournal.com profile] amireal takes the blunt of it in chat so I don't wildly post in a tantrum every time I get to another cookie cutter Rodney and Hewlett = greatness/Joe and Sheppard = suckitude.

Then sometimes, it's five in the morning and I stop caring about fannish opinion and want all the other people who feel as I do to gather together in one area and express love. *grins* Like, say, today.

This should calm me for a few hours. *g*
